Unveiling Conference 2019

The Unveiling annual women’s conference is an event which is hosted by Qamar Institute, along with our sister institutions, namely, Darun Naim, Zahraa and Mizan. It was inspired by a group of students who were studying the words of our beloved Messenger (ﷺ) and wanted to find a way to share his beautiful teachings with as many women as possible. The first Unveiling conference took place during the year 2007, at the Wittebome Civic Centre, Cape Town, South Africa. It attracted a large audience and left many wanting more. It became an annual event, featuring a different theme each year. During the year 2019, the theme for the Unveiling was Difficulties and Hardships, entitled ‘Avenues to the Almighty’. It attracted three thousand guests at the venue with an additional eight thousand who joined via the live-stream, by the permission of Allah.
The event has proven to be one that inspires the hearts of many, particularly towards a path of seeking understanding of Allah’s Book as means of guidance and strength through both times of ease as well as hardship. Alhamdulillah.
