Further Islamic Studies 1st year

After completing the Understanding Quran in Arabic journey, you may find your heart yearning for more — for a deeper, richer understanding of Islam itself.

This course is designed to guide you into the next stage of learning. You will be introduced to three of the great treasures of Islamic knowledge:

• the teachings of Prophetic Tradition (Hadeeth),

• the foundations of Islamic Belief (‘Aqeedah), and

• the guiding principles of Islamic Jurisprudence (Fiqh).

You’ll begin to see how Islam’s teachings were preserved with care and love across generations, and how they continue to offer timeless guidance today.

By the end of this first year of further studies, you will not only have gained a deeper understanding of Islam, but you will also find your love and appreciation for it growing in ways you may never have imagined.
